DENMARK, Holstebro: Interprofessional staff week

VIA is pleased to invite colleagues at partner universities to participate in an Interprofessional Staff Week in November 2026 at VIA University College, Campus Holstebro, Denmark.
The staff week is a joint initiative across several fields of study at the Holstebro campus: Health, Social Work, Building Construction, and Social Education. The main target group is Higher Education professionals – both academic and administrative staff – working within these areas.

Theme and Focus
The staff week focuses on: 

• The experience of studying and working at a campus located in a rural area
• Danish perspectives on education, didactics, and communication - exploring how we work with AI
• Intercultural and interprofessional encounters
• The Danish welfare model
• Internationalisation at home and abroad

VIA looks forward to welcoming a diverse group of participants. The programme will include both joint activities for all participants as well as specialized sessions addressing the distinct roles of teachers and administrative staff.

Structure of the week
Throughout the week, you will have the opportunity to: 

• Participate in interactive workshops
• Take part in classroom teaching activities
• Attend presentations on Danish educational and administrative practices
• Visits to local institutions and businesses in the Holstebro area.
• Engage in job shadowing.

You will also have time to network, share experiences, and collaborate with colleagues from different educational fields.

Present your institution to VIA students and colleagues
During the staff week, we will host an International Day for our students. On the last day of the programme, a Marketplace will be organised where participants are kindly asked to present and promote their home institutions, including exchange and cooperation opportunities.
Please bring flyers, posters, photos, and other relevant materials for this purpose!

Application
Interested colleagues must fill in the Fontys ICT registration form first in order to follow the internal procedure for staff mobility (see How does it work?)
Fontys ICT international team will coordinate the participants as sending university and bring you in contact with the host to follow up the application.
Only when participation is approved by the Coördinator Internationalisation or Cluster Manager the application process at the organizing partner can be started.
