Online information session
The date for the next group of outgoing students was scheduled at Thursday March 14th. 
Fontys Team Study Abroad provides information on the process and next steps to take after the nomination, such as Mobility Online workflow, Learning Agreement, who to contact for which questions, etc.
Next to that there is basic information about Erasmus+ scholarships and further scholarship opportunities. Also a first chance to mingle with other students which have gone abroad previously, students currently abroad and who will go abroad in Teams groups.

At the end of a previouw online session end 2023 there was also a Q&A session. Answers to questions that were asked can be found in the attachment: Roadmap QA 10 Oct. 2023 – Spring 2024.
 

Study Abroad Event!

There will be a new edition of the Study Abroad Event in November organized for all involved students with concrete plans to go abroad. 
You can talk with students who will share their former experiences abroad, reflect on what the period abroad has brought. Also some incoming exchange students at Fontys ICT can give information about their home university and/or country.
And of course for everyone with interest, thinking of fellow students, lecturers, staff, students with interest to go abroad in future, to get informed and learn more.

Study Abroad Event: for you too!
This event in Eindhoven is especially meant for students who will go abroad next semester for their minor, internship or graduation in Fall 2024. It is a pre-departure moment for information, practical matters, Q&A and networking. Also very useful for future students with interest to go abroad. So meet & greet experienced students, students from partner universities and everyone with interesting information, advice and tips.

In this workshop HTGA (How To Go Abroad) - Minor Study Abroad, we will go through all information and first steps to apply for the Minor Study Abroad. 
The online information session will help you in your orientation to make choices and prepare your application.

You will learn more about:

• Orientation and search to find a partner institution
• Fontys Wide partners and Cluster partners
• Use your network
• Interesting information sources and contacts
• Mobility Online
• Erasmus+ application
• Practical matters and preparation of your stay abroad

Upcoming online event
The new date for the next group of outgoing students is scheduled at Thursday May 16th. 
All students selected for a Minor Abroad next Fall 2024 will receive an invite for this event. The link to the session will be provided 1-2 weeks before the event will take place. 

This event focuses more on practicalities, such as making sure that they organize insurance, accommodation, visa, etc. before departure. Also, for the students going to Erasmus partners, there will be a presentation on Erasmus scholarships. At the end of this event there will be a Q&A session.

Additionally to this Fontyswide event there will also be online sessions for Meet & Greet and Q&A with Fontys ICT and Cluster Technology students currently studying abroad, at scheduled timeslots to be announced.

The event for the previous group of outgoing students currently studying abroad was also recorded, follow this LINK.
For this group of outgoing students Spring 2024 this event was a good opportunity to get in touch with other students going abroad.

An Info Session for last minute potential students ánd participants at the Minor Global Acting in IT Fall 2024.
The lunch meeting is at the TQ-5 building Tribune De Visie (2.528) and offered.

We are organizing a welcome back meeting for the group of outgoing students last Fall semester and involved Fontys ICT contact persons in the TQ5-2 building.
Students will pitch in a few minutes per group the results of their stay abroad in personal and professional development. It would be great to listen to their experiences, from each other and by us too.
Fellow students, lecturers and staff are welcome to learn from all experiences too!
