BELGIUM, Brugge and Kortrijk: Howest International IT Week

Share your expertise: a call for workshops

The heart of our International Week is the knowledge you share. Howest University invites you to host a hands-on, 2-hour workshop for our first-year IT Bachelor and/or Associate Degree students (IoT, Web design, full stack software development, Cyber security, AI, XR). This is your stage to give our students a taste of your institution's unique teaching style.

Howest is looking for 10 interactive sessions on a variety of topics for IT students, for example:

  • Technical skills: An introduction to Flutter, a primer on Ethical Hacking, a crash course in a programming language (Rust, Mojo, …)
  • International soft skills: Workshops on cross-cultural communication, pitching ideas to a global audience, or building confidence in English.
  • A unique cultural skill: Teach a session on anything from Japanese calligraphy to the principles of Italian design.

For partners in the Netherlands and other Dutch-speaking regions, we also warmly welcome workshop proposals in Dutch to connect with our local student community.
