After the on-site part of the Study Abroad Event during the Career Day in Eindhoven we have Online Meet & Greet and Q&A sessions by experienced students currently studying at the host university abroad at Thursday 16th of May.

12:00-13:00 | FONTYS ONLINE PREDEPARTURE EVENT
This online event will focus more on practicalities, such as making sure that they organize insurance, accommodation, visa, etc. before departure. Also, for the students going to Erasmus partners, there will be a presentation on Erasmus scholarships. At the end of this event there will be a Q&A session.
All Fontys students selected for a Minor Study Abroad next Fall 2024 will receive an invite for this Fontys event with Teams link early November.
The event will be recorded and shared. Please do join if you belong to the group of outgoing students Spring 2024 as this is there opportunity to ask us any questions and get in touch with other students going abroad.

The Study Abroad Event is there for you every semester. This edition will be at the Fontys ICT Career Day in Eindhoven again.
Stop by at the Study Abroad area in the TQ5-2 building Tribune De Visie for Meet & Greets and Q&A. An on site programme to meet students who love to share their experiences abroad. We have also incoming students from partner universities happy to talk you about their home university and country.
The Study Abroad Event at the Career Day is a great chance for your orientation and preparation to go abroad!

• An event where students and colleagues with interest in internationalisation can get informed about several study abroad options during the studies...
• Where students can share their former experiences abroad and reflect on what the period abroad has brought, share tips and advice…
• For students who will go abroad it is a network event to meet students with the same interest for Q&A, exchange tips and meet & greet…

Meet & Greet
There are network tables per continent where you can gather together with students who go to the same continent and maybe country or partner university like you.
Also interested students with future plans to go abroad are welcome to join and talk to those who will go abroad soon and some experienced students.
Students would like to share their experiences, from the approach in the preparation phase and what this period has brought finally for personal and professional development.

• Students who will go to Australia and New Zealand next semester can meet each other in the Oceania area.

AMERICA

• We would like to promote a semester abroad at our warm partner Belgium Campus ITVersity, Pretoria, South Africa.
  There are great options of an Erasmus+ international mobility for future students.
