The course explores how Additive Manufacturing (AM) and digital transformation can disrupt and redesign existing business models. It addresses both the technical possibilities and the strategic business implications of additive manufacturing across the product lifecycle, from design to production to sustainability assessment.
Participants will work in cross-professional and intercultural teams to solve real-world problems, applying knowledge from fields such as business model innovation, value chain management, cost efficiency, customer-centric design green technologies, and IPR and how to avoid “green Washing”
The course includes lectures, workshops, company visits, and collaborative project work. Students will design and prototype solutions that integrate AM technologies with viable business strategies.
