BELGIUM, Louvain-la-Neuve: Dashboards and KPIs, key elements to drive a business

More than ever, it’s important to drive your business, keeping the eyes on key figures in a dashboard… just as you do it to drive your car. The recent Corona crisis forced companies to rebuild their business and to reorganize it, transforming the threats into opportunities. If you haven’t a solid management system, it can be more difficult to keep up. 

During the week, we will focus on KPIs (Key performance indicators) : Why is it so important to have a good dashboard ?  Examples of relevant KPIs – testimonials of companies. Drive your own virtual business in teams and try to perform and maximize your own KPIs in a competitive environment. 

In our program you will find: 

  • An introductory lecture from DELOITTE  
  • A lecture and visit of AGC European Research Center  
  • A visit of Choco Story (Chocolate museum in Brussels) and the town center of Brussels  
  • A business game during which you will in team drive a company that produces and sells leisure boats 

The costs includes:

  • Meals (breakfasts, lunches and 1 supper)
  • Accommodation (5 nights from 23 to 27 March in shared rooms)
  • Social programme and material     

Invoices will be sent individually to the students unless otherwise specified by the partner institution.

Recep international week at EPHEC

Nafi Ahmad Rohman was part of the International Business Week at EPHEC about Dashboards, KPI’s, and key elements to drive a business consisted of lectures from DELOITTE and AGC Glass Europe. The programme consists of workshops, quizzes, a visit to Bertinchamps brewery and a business simulation game meant to teach students what KPI’s are, how they contribute to achieving business goals and simulating using dashboards to make decisions.
Besides studying about Dashboards and KPI’s, they also had ample time for fun activities such as exploring Brussels through a beerhunting game and going through a guided museum tour at Choco Story. Overall Nafi had an incredible time at EPHEC, meeting a lot of amazing people, having so much fun spending time with them and learning about Dashboards and KPI’s along the way.
