Students of Fontys University of Applied Sciences are in the invite list of “2026 Chinese Culture Camp” held by ZZULI.
This partner university is happy to offer this because of the valuable opportunity. Also after checking the itinerary, this trip is very reasonably organized to cover basically all the essence of Henan province.
This year, they have expanded our traditional summer camp into a more comprehensive Summer School program, which will span two weeks and feature a thematic focus. The theme of this year’s Summer School is "Chinese Food Culture," which highlights our university’s strengths in Food Science and Engineering. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of academic and cultural activities, including a couple of lectures on Food Science, hands-on Laboratory Sessions, visits to well-known food factories, in addition to our traditional cultural excursions to places like the Henan Museum, Shaolin Temple, Longmen Grottoes, and other sites that showcase Henan’s rich cultural heritage.
What is covered?
Zhengzhou University of Light Industry (ZZULI) will cover all the expenses in China:
Zzuli will not cover international air ticket and visa application fee, so students only must pay for that. If you only attend the Camp there is no visa required for Dutch citizens (they can stay in China upto 15 days without visa).
There is place for only 5 candidates from Fontys. Please find the draft itinerary and application form in the download files.
UPDATE: The number of Fontys candidates has been reached. If you still would like to apply your registration will be viewed in order, should someone drop out.
DO NOT BOOK the flight ticket at this moment. ZZULI first needs to know the whole information of all the invited universities.

For cancellation, the following rules apply
In case of cancellation, only 50% of the registration fee will be refunded if the cancellation is done at least 4 weeks before the start of the project. After that, the total amount is non-refundable.
This means cancellation up to 4 weeks: 50% payment due.
Cancellation less than 4 weeks before start date of the week: full amount due.
