Design and Build of a Smartphone-Driven Kart: A Blend of Programming and Mechanics
EPHEC offers Design and Build of a Smartphone-Driven Kart: A Blend of Programming and Mechanics, an international Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) that combines engineering, programming, electronics, and innovation in a unique hands-on learning experience.
This programme combines an online preparation session with an intensive on-campus week in Brussels, Belgium, where you will collaborate with students from across Europe to design, build, and programme a smartphone-controlled electric kart.
Working in international and multidisciplinary teams, you will transform a pedal-powered kart into a battery-powered electric vehicle. By integrating mechanics, electronics, and software development, you will gain practical experience in designing and implementing a complete mechatronic system.
During the programme, you will:
By participating, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in programming, electronics, mechanics, and embedded systems while developing the technical and collaborative skills needed for today's engineering and technology sectors. You will also expand your international network by working closely with students and lecturers from partner universities across Europe.
